My name is Vilma Vicente, I grew up around Lisbon’s white sandy beaches with my toes in the sand, wet salty hair and a big smile on my face.
I graduated from Lisbon University of Fine Arts in 2002 and despite always been painting my all life, just recently I gathered the courage to showcase and sell my work to the public.
After moving to the Algarve I discovered my true calling as an artist – embracing the Ocean through my artistic work and capturing the fluidity and magnificence of the waves using different mediums. I dived into my journey as an ocean-focused artist.
My painting is raw and passionate. I love to experiment with different techniques and materials, but Fluid Art has been the one that I’m most passionate about. I love the controlled chaos of the creative process and the unexpected character of the final results.
Fluid Art resonates with my spontaneous and sensory nature, allowing me to dive into a world of colours and creativity. Each brushstroke captures a moment of pure emotion and spontaneity, making every piece a unique reflection of my inner world.
